The Venice Chorale

WHO WE ARE

The mission of The Venice Chorale is to promote the art of choral singing and enrich the greater Venice community through creative and diverse performances.

The Venice Chorale, Inc. is a multi-generational chorus dedicated to presenting high quality choral performances to residents and visitors of Venice and surrounding communities. The Venice Chorale (formerly Exsultate) became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2002 with 26 singers and has grown to more than 100 singers. Since its founding, The Venice Chorale has provided a dynamic performance venue for all ages which helps singers learn and grow musically while participating in the joy of singing.

In 2004, The Venice Chorale initiated the Apprentice Program for high school age students to foster an interest in music and ensure an ongoing infusion of youth into the Chorale. Area high school music students are selected by audition for this program and receive a stipend towards their music studies or music experiences - which are approved by the artistic director. These students are full members of the Chorale. Apprentices are mentored by the Artistic Director and Artistic Team and receive individual attention and coaching throughout the season. The Venice Chorale Youth Chorus was established in 2013 to provide choral music education and experience to students in 4^th through 8^th grade.
