WHO WE ARE

The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast (Perlman Suncoast) cultivates audiences of all ages through classical music performances and education outreach programs, including hosting the PMP Winter Residency in Sarasota-Bradenton and presenting the PMP Alumni: Around Town, and PMP Alumni: In Schools.


Through its relationship with The Perlman Music Program (PMP), founded by Toby Perlman and with a world-renown faculty, including internationally-acclaimed violinist and conductor Itzhak Perlman, Perlman Suncoast offers the public the unique opportunity to witness the talent and spirit of extraordinary gifted and promising  young string students and accomplished graduates.

The Snow

The Perlman Music Program welcomes string players of rare and special talent into a life-long nurturing and supportive community. More than 50 students, alumni and faculty joined Itzhak Perlman for this virtual performance of Elgar's masterpiece, "The Snow".

Sara Quartet

Russell Gant is joined in the Sarasota Performance and Broadcast Studio by the Sara Quartet, all alumni of the Perlman Music Program. Violinists KJ McDonald and Rinat Erlichman, violist Hannah Geisinger, and cellist Derek Louie talk about recent outreach concerts they’ve been presenting throughout Sarasota, and play a couple movements from Dvorak’s “American Quartet.” Good conversation and live music on Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9.
