Malaika Hollist

Host/Director
Malaika Hollist is the Brand Manager of Arts Axis Florida and our host. Malaika co-hosts a podcast called Full Moon with her best friend and is an avid podcast listener. With a background in youth and family studies, digital media, and many mediums of art she is so excited to explore the dynamic of art and mental health in this podcast.

Chandler is a graduate at the University of South Florida. He was hired by WUSF in 2020 to begin his pursuits in public media. Chandler has since gone on to assist with many projects, as well as helping to promote WUSF's digital presence through multiple mediums.

Season 1 Audio Engineer

Scott Wachtler is a writer and journalist who has worked in Tampa Bay and Boston. He’s the author of the True Crime novel Young Blood: Murder in the Woods. While working for WUSF he has produced podcasts for StoryCorps. He currently edits the Arts Axis Florida podcast and Inside USF: The Podcast. He is also the editor of Cyber Florida’s No Password Required podcast and their Do We Belong Here podcast. When he’s not working, he likes to spend time with his family.
